Former Afghanistan fast bowler Shapoor Zadran has passed away in India after a long illness.

According to Afghan cricket sources, the left-arm pacer had been receiving treatment at a hospital in India for some time. Officials are yet to announce when his body will be taken back to Afghanistan.
