The platform can be a major opportunity for players like Dhara to push open the door to the Women’s Premier League and make their mark. That is the whole point of the league, and that is where new teams become all the more relevant.
The other notable aspect of Novus Royals Purulia is their pedigree. Teams like Adamas Howrah and Novus Royals Purulia add heft to the league in the sense that they are owned by groups with significant presence in the state and have been operating in Bengal for many years. Backed by Bandhan Bank, the Novus Royals are in it for the long haul, and that is one of the best things to happen to the Bengal Pro T20 League this season.
