Viking recovered from an early shock goal to defeat 3rd division Brodd 3-1 and advance in the Norwegian Cup. Lillestrøm also progressed with a 3-0 win.

3rd division side Brodd stunned Viking by taking an early lead through Felix Taraldset. However, Viking regrouped after halftime with goals from Jakob Segadal Hansen and Herman Haugen to secure a 3-1 victory.
