LSU head coach Lane Kiffin embraced his role as college football's villain with a star-studded entrance before his first game. The former Ole Miss coach, who left after a historic season to take the LSU job, walked alongside former LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne, comedian Theo Von, and model Brooks Nader during the traditional 'Tiger Walk' ahead of Saturday's season opener against Clemson.
Kiffin has been assembling a top-ranked transfer portal class while adding intrigue by recruiting players with NFL experience. Despite some of those players not making the roster, Kiffin remains unfazed by the surrounding noise. 'A lot of times to do great things, you're going to be hated,' the coach said. With former LSU coach Ed Orgeron now on his staff as a special assistant, Kiffin appears comfortable playing the part of college football's entertaining villain in Baton Rouge. wlop.pl
