Nun, einerseits habt ihr es hier mit einem klassischen Echtzeitstrategiespiel zu tun - Ressourcen sammeln, Basisbau, Armee aufstellen und den Gegner in die Knie zwingen. Andererseits gibt es RPG-Aspekte und Entscheidungen, die an Titel wie Mass Effect erinnern und euch Beziehungen zu eurer Crew und euren Helden aufbauen lassen.
New Blue Eye Samurai season 2 trailer sees Mizu double down on her quest for revenge as Netflix confirms a January 2027 release
A new trailer for Blue Eye Samurai season 2 has finally arrived, and with a release date in tow. syntagm.co.za
In the brief clip, which can be viewed above, Mizu is on a boat headed to London when a storm nearly causes a shipwreck. At the very end, we learn that new episodes are set to arrive in January 2027. A clip from season 2 was previously shown at Annecy, which saw Mizu arrive in London and become part of an underground fighting ring... where all the men underestimate her before she kicks some serious butt.
Per the official logline: "In Season 2, Mizu's bloody quest continues in London, where she faces new friends, old foes, and her own demons. In Japan, Akemi and Taigen navigate Edo Castle under a dangerous new Shogun, while Ringo searches for new purpose." The new trailer comes as part of Netflix's anime slate for Anime NYC.
"Mizu's journey remains the same. Revenge is her religion," Noizumi previously said of the new season, when we received a first-look trailer back in 2025.
Blue Eye Samurai hit Netflix back in November 2023 and was swiftly renewed for a second season that same December. Created by husband-and-wife team Amber Noizumi and Michael Green, the series follows a female warrior onna-musha who seeks revenge against four men, one of whom is her father. The impressive voice cast includes Kenneth Branagh, Brenda Song, George Takei, Masi Oka, and Randall Park.

"Wir werden maximal brennen": Münster setzt im Pokal auf die Fans
In das Pokalduell gegen den Karlsruher SC (Freitag, 18 Uhr) geht der SC Preußen Münster als Außenseiter, glaubt aber dennoch an seine Chance – und setzt dabei vor allem auf die Fans.
"Krasse Energie und eine hohe Bereitschaft" gefordert
Noch im letzten Jahr standen sich beide Klubs in der 2. Liga auf Augenhöhe gegenüber, nun ist Preußen Münster nach dem Abstieg der Herausforderer. "Karlsruhe ist Favorit, aber wir glauben an unsere Chance", sagte Trainer Thomas Wörle bei der Spieltags-Pressekonferenz im Vorfeld der Partie, ist sich aber bewusst, dass "schon richtig viel zusammenlaufen" müsse, um als Sieger vom Platz zu gehen. An der Herangehensweise und Spielvorbereitung will der 44-Jährige aber nichts ändern. "Für uns kommt es darauf an, dass wir sie mitr ihre Stärken nicht entfalten lassen. Wir brauchen den Mut, zu verteidigen, genauso wie den Mut, hinten herauszuspielen. Da müssen wir unseren eigenen Weg und unsere Momente im Spiel finden."
Ebenso brauche es einen "kühlen Kopf, krasse Energie und eine hohe Bereitschaft, auch mal Meter zu gehen, wenn es wehtut." Die Karlsruher sind wie Münster mit vier Punkten aus zwei Spielen in die Saison gestartet, zuletzt gab es ein torloses Remis beim Derby in Kaiserslautern. "Sie haben neue Abläufe etabliert, versuchen aus dem Spiel mit dem Ball eine Dominanz zu erlangen und den Gegner über ein gutes Positionsspiel tief hineinzudrücken."
"Wird jedem Spieler Energie geben"
Münster will gegen einen "ambitionierten Zweitligisten" vor allem mithilfe der Fans im ausverkauften Preußenstadion dagegen halten. "Für so eine Atmosphäre wie hier zu Hause haben wir angefangen Fußball zu spielen. Das kann und wird jedem Spieler Energie geben", blickte Wörle voraus. Genau 13.945 Zuschauer werden dabei sein. Freitagabend, Flutlicht – "das ist etwas ganz Besonderes", so Wörle, laut dem die Mannschaft "maximal brennen" werde. "Wir wollen einen richtigen Fight abliefern."
Aus personeller Sicht stehen neben den Langzeitverletzten Luca Bolay, Marvin Schulz (beide Außenbandanriss), Malik Batmaz und Simon Scherder (beide Kreuzbandriss) auch Joshua Mees (Adduktorenzerrung) sowie Tim Dietrich, der gegen Ingolstadt zur Halbzeit angeschlagen ausgewechselt wurde, nicht zur Verfügung. Letzterer könnte durch Antonio Tikvic ersetzt werden. Für den 22-Jährigen wäre es das erste Spiel von Anfang an, nachdem er sich vor einem Jahr im Duell mit dem KSC das Kreuzband gerissen hatte.
OK, Vice City does look pretty damn impressive from the air
We've pulled lots of interesting little details out of the purported Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay clips being posted by "Cyberleek" this week. In the first couple we saw a possible morality system and stamina meter, and in the next two we got a better look at combat and spied some other Red Dead Redemption 2-like features.
My takeaway was that Grand Theft Auto 6 won't necessarily be a revolutionary new kind of game, but will be impressive for the same reason Rockstar games typically are: The absurd amount of effort and money the studio puts into making them as big and detailed as the mainstream hardware of the day can manage.
After seeing the latest leaked clip, which shows a biplane surveying the fictional state of Leonida and cruising over Vice City, my perspective hasn't really changed, but I'm definitely a lot more wowed than I was after seeing a bit of typical GTA carjacking.
The city, which is only a portion of GTA 6's full map, looks enormous from the air, and densely packed with detail. Across a couple minutes of video, we see what looks like a military base, small farms, dozens of mid- and high-rise apartments and office buildings, an arena, a construction site, grimier looking commercial districts, a huge marina and waterways running through the city, bridges, and tangled freeway interchanges. Phew.
Similar reactions are being shared in the Gaming Leaks and Rumors subreddit: "Yea this is the first clip out of all of these leaks that actually made me go 'holy shit,'" said one commenter.
The legitimacy of the footage is still an open question, but like the other videos, it is highly believable. It could be from an old or limited build of the game, but it does appear that the leaker is capturing the clips themselves: they concluded this latest clip with a video in which they write "LEEK" on a wall with bullet holes.
