How to complete the Urban Survival quest in Control Resonant
The Urban Survival quest in Control Resonant occurs in the Evacuation Zone, where players have to follow a trail of unauthorized mines through a parking lot and back towards the lone survivalist who's somehow still plugging along, despite the extradimensional horrors stalking the streets. There's a few strange elements to this quest, as once you find the survivalist, they're happy to send you out on missions around the city before they'll consent to evacuate, but I'll lay out the particulars of it all below in a full walkthrough, so you know what to do and all the key locations you need to find.

Full walkthrough for Urban Survival in Control Resonant
Urban Survival is broken into several steps in Control Resonant, all of which are marked below on the map and listed beneath that.
- Approach the Unauthorized Mines in the Evacuation Zone, and read the "Investigation Order" collectible outside the entrance to the Parking Lot to start this quest.
- Follow them through the Parking Lot and out back to the South to find the Survivalist's Bunker inside a warehouse. Speak to the Survivalist via the Intercom, and he'll ask you to find Olivia and his granny.
- Olivia is inside the back office of the Pulse Fitness Gym, but isn't a person - she's a potted plant. Clear out the Hiss to get inside, then pick her up to tick off this section of the quest.
- Granny is in the Northeast apartment building, which you can access via the rooftop entrance. Head down the elevator and into the one accessible apartment to find Granny (in an urn). With both Granny and Olivia, head back to the Survivalist, who now wants you to find his brother.
- The first thing is to find the Survivalist's Car and to get his keys. It's a large, boxy vehicle in the Far North Evac Zone, in front of a street blocked off by Mold.
- With the keys, head into the apartment building and upstairs to find the brother, taken by the Hiss. Take the picture of the two brothers instead and bring it back to the Survivalist to end the Urban Survival quest.

As a reward for this questline, you'll get The Plate Carrier M1 outer layer outfit piece, as well as the Untapped Heart Monitor Artifact, which gives you a one-time free respawn when you would have normally died. You can also now access the Bunker, which has a container of materials.

With these permanent Chicken Farm codes, you can boost your egg drops, get your hands on some cash, and even pick up a few extra lucky blocks. The aim of the game here is to get as many chickens as possible, the higher quality the better, so they can lay thousands of eggs and earn you a quick buck.
With that in mind, these Chicken Farm codes come in handy, especially those that boost your egg rate and cash rate in the Roblox simulator - and there's even one here for a whopping 200,000 cash, so make sure you redeem them if you haven't already.

Sam Gough’s journey from being ‘a hazard’ at PE to becoming Para Lionesses captain
One of the best strikers in the world, the Scot talks about her career in blind football and the Euros
Helga has spotted a pigeon just outside the changing rooms at Poltonhall Sports Complex in Bonnyrigg and it suddenly becomes clear from her ears, tongue and tail that she would very much like to chase it. But not today. She is a good girl, she resists the exciting temptation, and stays true to her task. Helga, a three-year-old black labrador, is a guide dog, partnered with the England women’s blind football captain, Sam Gough, and the duo have important work to do.
Gough is preparing for the 2026 IBSA Women’s Blind Football European Championship, which gets under way in Istanbul on Saturday, full of confidence in her everyday life since partnering with Helga last year, a moment she says has been liberating.
This year Postcode Lottery players are helping Guide Dogs to fund life-changing partnerships like Sam and Helga. To find out more about Guide Dogs, you can visit guidedogs.org.uk
This is an extract from our free email about women’s football, Moving the Goalposts. To get the full edition, visit this page and follow the instructions. Moving the Goalposts is delivered to your inboxes every Tuesday and Thursday.
Continue reading...The Witcher 3 updated system requirements are in, and you will need an RTX 5080 for path tracing with DLSS and frame generation
We all know that path tracing is a bit of a GPU hog, and if you plan on running it in the remaster of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, you're going to need a beefy and relatively new rig for this graphical mode. However, to get the game up and running on the lowest settings at 30 fps, you won't need a very recent GPU.
With The Witcher 3 Remastered going live today, CD Projekt Red has shared what you can expect to run with every major CPU and GPU brand, with Low graphics at 30 fps requiring a relatively meagre Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 / AMD Radeon RX 550 XT / Intel Arc A580, plus an Intel Core i5 8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600.
However, for path tracing, you will need an Intel Core i9 13900K or AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080. To get the estimated 60 fps at 4K, you will have to not only run DLSS, but you will need to use frame generation. That does mean it should fare better at 1440p or 1080p. CD Projekt Red does not specify which level of upscaling (though it says it's on Auto, whatever that means) or what level of frame generation is present for this setting.
As we saw in our investigation of Pragmata's path tracing earlier this year, we are expecting The Witcher 3 Remastered's path tracing to offer better shadows and highlights to generally make the world feel more 'real'. However, whether or not it's worth the hit to performance will be dependent on your tastes (and your rig). I'm not personally sold on even ray tracing's benefits all of the time, so it would be a tough sell for me, even if I had a rig good enough to run it.
Minimum | Recommended | Ultra | RT Minimum | RT Recommended | Path Tracing
Graphics preset | Low | High | Ultra | RT | RT: Ultra | RT: Ultra |
Resolution | 1080p | 1080p | 1440p | 1080p (DLSS/FSR/XeSS) | 1440p (DLSS/FSR) | 2160p (DLSS) |
FPS | 30 | 60 | 60 | 30 | 60 | 60 with Frame Generation |
CPU | Intel Core i5 8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600 | Intel Core i7 8700K / AMD Ryzen 5 3600X | Intel Core i7 13700K / AMD Ryzen 7 7700X | Intel Core i7 11700K / AMD Ryzen 7 5800X | Intel Core i7 13700K / AMD Ryzen 7 7700X | Intel Core i9 13900K / AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D |
GPU | Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 / AMD Radeon RX 550 XT 8 GB / Intel Arc A580 | Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super / AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT / Intel Arc B580 | Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti / AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT / Intel Arc B580 (XeSS) | Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super / AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT / Intel Arc B580 | Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080
VRAM | 6 GB | 8 GB | 12 GB | 8 GB | 12 GB | 16 GB |
RAM | 12 GB | 16 GB | 24 GB | 16 GB | 24 GB | 24 GB |
Storage | 60 GB SSD | 60 GB SSD | 60 GB SSD | 60 GB SSD | 60 GB SSD | 60 GB SSD |
Also notably, the RX 9070 XT isn't listed as an option for this top-tier graphics mode. That's most likely because this GPU struggles more than equivalent Nvidia ones to deal with path tracing, and at any rate it's less powerful in general than the RTX 5080 listed.
At the higher end, the 24 GB memory requirement may be tough for some rigs, what with the memory crisis continuing to rage. Still, the bottom end of this table isn't too bad. The GTX 1660 was a mid-range graphics card that launched seven years ago. That does mean that your rig you played the original The Witcher 3 on at launch won't be able to run the new remaster even on low settings, in case you were wondering.
But if you own the original game, you will be able to play the new remaster for free, and the Complete Edition is half off if you somehow don't already have it. With a new expansion out next year, it might finally be time for that replay.
