Die vierte und letzte Staffel von Silo wird im Sommer 2027 auf Apple TV Premiere feiern
Rebecca Fergusons Zeit als Juliette Nichols neigt sich dem Ende zu. Die dritte Staffel von Silo wird derzeit auf Apple TV gestreamt, aber es stellt sich heraus, dass dies auch die vorletzte Staffel der Science-Fiction-Serie sein wird.
Wie die Streaming-Plattform während der San Diego Comic-Con am Wochenende bestätigte, wird die kommende vierte Staffel von Silo offiziell die letzte sein. Hinzu kommt, dass wir wissen, wann diese Episoden erwartet werden, da die letzte Staffel irgendwann im Sommer 2027 beginnen wird. Es gibt noch kein offizielles Datum, aber man weiß zumindest, wann man mit der nächsten Episodenrunde rechnen kann.
Die dritte Staffel der Serie wird weiterhin wöchentlich neue Episoden zeigen, bis Anfang September das letzte Kapitel dieser Staffel erscheint. Im Grunde solltest du deine Zeit mit Silo schätzen, denn sie wird nicht mehr lange bleiben.

Christopher Nolan has revealed why he changed the ending of The Odyssey compared to the original poem.
In Nolan's film, the story ends with Odysseus's triumphant return home and his killing of the suitors, before he and his wife Penelope set sail on another adventure together. Read more in our The Odyssey ending explained.
However, in the original Homer, the story concludes with the same return and slaying of the suitors, but Telemachus hangs a group of slave girls who had been sexually involved with the men. Odysseus and Penelope also do not venture off on another journey.
When asked by Time about the film's exploration of "man as beast," specifically in regards to the Circe sequence and the sack of Troy, Nolan explained: "Circe articulates it well in the film. I love the way Samantha [Morton] has played the part. Talking about choices of adaptation, the end of the poem is so grim and so misogynistic, I had to exclude some of that material. But I didn't want to completely take it off the table in terms of what it is saying about men and the way they wage war."
The Odyssey makes several other changes to the poem, too, including cutting some of the gods, reducing how long Odysseus stayed with Circe, and changing which shades Odysseus speaks to in the underworld scene.
"Comes with the territory," Nolan has said previously of backlash to the movie. "But look," he added, "these conversations that happen before people see the film – they're always irrelevant, because no one having them knows what the film actually is yet."

Warner Bros. en Paramount zetten de fusie officieel op pauze, mogelijk tot juni 2027
Zelfs na goedkeuring van bestuur en aandeelhouders lijkt het alsof niet alles vlekkeloos verloopt voor de deal tussen Warner Bros. en Paramount. Nu vragen over verminderde concurrentie op de kabel- en tv-markten steeds vaker aan de orde komen, heeft een coalitie van 12 staten een tijdelijk straatverbod verkregen, waardoor de fusie minstens 28 dagen wordt geblokkeerd.
Volgens Variety heeft Paramount nu bevestigd dat het de fusie met Warner Bros. zal uitstellen tot na een mededingingsproces. Er is nog geen datum van het proces vastgesteld, maar de deal van 111 miljard dollar zal pas vijf dagen na de rechtszaak worden afgerond, of op 1 juni 2027. De overeenkomst zal met minstens enkele maanden worden uitgesteld.
"Het stoppen van deze fusie terwijl onze zaak loopt is een cruciale overwinning in onze inspanningen om de wet te handhaven en de film- en televisie-industrie te beschermen," zei Letitia James, procureur-generaal van New York. De procureur-generaal van Californië, Rob Bonta, deelde ook een verklaring tegen wat hij een "illegale fusie" noemt.
"Ons argument tegen deze illegale fusie is eenvoudig: wanneer te weinig bedrijven te veel macht hebben in markten die centraal staan in het Amerikaanse leven, wordt het duurder en erger. De overeenkomst van vandaag is geweldig nieuws voor publiek, bioscopen en de vele mensen die de kunst, het nieuws en het entertainment schrijven, bouwen en creëren waar velen van ons van genieten. We staan te popelen om onze zaak in de rechtbank te blijven bepleiten en opnieuw een geweldige overwinning te vieren in onze inspanning om ervoor te zorgen dat deze onwettige fusie nooit het daglicht ziet," zei hij.
Paramount wilde de deal vóór 30 september afronden, waarna WB-investeerders een dagvergoeding van 7 miljoen dollar oplevert. Tenzij er eerder een schikking komt, is het waarschijnlijk dat dit zal gebeuren en Paramount zijn chequeboek moet opsturen.
