Bungie-veteran: Ringvärlden i Halo: Campaign Evolved är "jävligt ful"
En person som definitivt kan ett och annat om det här med Halo är Marcus Lehto, före detta Bungie-veteran som var art director för {Halo: Combat Evolved}. Han ligger alltså bakom designen på självaste Master Chief och även mycket annat, och var även med och designade den ikoniska ringvärlden.
Nu är han till synes både besviken och upprörd över hur ringvärlden ser ut i {Halo: Campaign Evolved} och kallar den för "jävligt ful". Lehto menar att den var tänkt att framstå som en ondskefull, mystisk och ändå spännande plats - där den Halo som nu möter oss i spelets menyer är mindre hotfull och ser mer ut som en leksak.
Han tycker dessutom att den är felplacerad eftersom ringvärlden tydligt låg i utkanten av vår kära galax vintergatan, där man kunde se den. Den nya ringvärlden är istället placerad anonymt någonstans i rymden:
"While Forerunner tech was metal (not stone) it was also ancient, vast, alive, and a tomb to the horrors that lurked within. It had seen hundreds of millennia of conflict. Yet the game shows it as shiny metal that looks like it was built a few years ago.
The main menu ring is the most offensive thing we see every time we boot up the game. It should feel massive, dark, mysterious, sinister, but also full of wonder. This new ring looks like a shiny new toy - out of scale, no mystery, damn ugly.
Also, for the lore, the ring in CE resides far out on the fringe of the Milky Way galaxy, which we see in the background."

Ezra Bridger star Eman Esfandi says Ahsoka season 2 has "a lot more lightsaber action" and "witches and swords and explosions galore"
At D23, Ezra Bridger star Eman Esfandi has teased what's to come in Ahsoka season 2 – and it sounds pretty epic.
"There's going to be more lightsabers. A lot more lightsaber action. There's going to be some space battles, some space action, and there's going to be witches, and swords, and explosions galore," the actor shared during a talk attended by GamesRadar+ at the Disney convention. "It's going to be really fun, really fast-paced, and we may or may not hear something about that a little later today. So, stay tuned here at D23 for Ahsoka season 2." fish-roadgame.online
Ahsoka season 2 is set to feature the return of Admiral Ackbar, who will face off against Grand Admiral Thrawn – which might be one of the space battles Esfandi is talking about. It also sounds like we can expect to see more of the fearsome Nightsisters of Dathomir.
The new season will also see the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, while Game of Thrones star Rory McCann takes over the role of Baylan Skoll from the late Ray Stevenson.
"A lot of action. Fights, battles, explosions, lightsabers, lasers," Esfandi has previously teased of season 2. "I'm having a flashback. So a lot of action, and I think everybody's gonna love it. Dave [Filoni] went nuts, and all of us were ready to follow suit of our fearless leader, and it's gonna be a lot of fun."

The Simpsons: Hit & Run "is coming back in some form," says Matt Groening, but it looks like he wasn't supposed to
Cult classic open-world game The Simpsons: Hit and Run could finally be getting a revival, if series creator Matt Groening is to be believed.
Via Empire, Groening took the stage during D23 2026 and seemingly let some news slip that he wasn't supposed to. Groening was asked whether there will ever be another Simpsons: Hit & Run game, and he appeared to tease a remake. "I think the original game is coming back in some form," he said, before current Simpsons showrunner Matt Selman cut in with, "or not."

The Simpsons: Hit & Run has seemingly been stuck in some sort of rights purgatory having originally been published by Vivendi, which was acquired by Activision and then brought under the Microsoft umbrella in 2023 with Microsoft's acquisition of Activision. Disney owns the overall series, but it's unclear if there's another entity that would need to give the green light for a continuation or revival of the Hit & Run intellectual property specifically.
After more than two decades, it's reasonable that some fans have given up entirely on getting a remake or sequel, and in some cases have embraced that as a good thing, but Selman said as recently as this March to "never say never" when it comes to more Hit & Run. Now, with Groening seemingly let some sort of remake or remaster project slip, Hit & Run fans have more reason than ever to be optimistic.
The Simpsons: Hit & Run is a GTA-like open-world adaptation of Groening's iconic cartoon sitcom. Developer Radical Entertainment reportedly began working on a sequel immediately upon Hit & Run's release but was forced to cancel the project when Vivendi declined to renew the license. The game was never ported outside of its original platforms GameCube, PS2, Xbox, and Windows PC.
