Sported Coaching End of Season Camp – Khorfakkan
Sported Coaching wrapped up the season in style with a 3-day training camp at the Oceanic Hotel in Khorfakkan, bringing together both new and existing team members for a weekend of focused training, learning, and team connection.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the UAE’s East coast, the camp combined structured swim, bike, and run sessions with in-depth discussions on the principles behind the Trisutto coaching methodology. Athletes explored the concept of triathlon as one sport, gaining a clearer understanding of how the principles of the TriSutto approach differs from much of the mainstream triathlon coaching. Supervised sessions looked at swim technique in the pool and the sea, running technique and the use of big gears on the bike to build leg strength.
We closed the weekend with two super sprint triathlons - short, sharp, with some inter group rivalry between Eva and Hisham. A great way to test form, apply what had been learned about transitions and finish the season on a high.
More than anything, the camp highlighted what Sported Coaching is all about: building stronger, smarter athletes within a supportive and motivated community.
We’re already looking ahead to summer races and the next season.
